Amelia made one cute Foster Farms Chicken for Halloween. She dressed up, along with all her friends, for her first Halloween party. Then she turned into a tired pumpkin so she could pass out candy to all the big kids who dropped by our house. It was a great day.
Two days later it was time for more celebrating as this new mom turned 40! I can’t believe that one, but it’s true. The morning started with a bouquet of flowers and two birthday cards; one from my husband and one from my daughter. Then a few moments later the two of them presented me with a diamond necklace and matching earrings. Very special!
Our new little family headed out the door for breakfast at the Maltby Café, and then it was off to meet Amelia’s new friends for lunch at the Honey Bear Bakery. The day was a wrap with friends Mark & Dorothy. We picked up a quick dinner and then joined their son Aaron to watch the Bothell vs. Redmond high school girl’s volleyball game. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in a high school. It was fun to see what’s to come in the next years with Amelia.
